Dr. Tania
Tania received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees from the College of Dentistry, Howard University (Washington DC). She interned at Harlem Hospital Center in New York before specializing in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the School of Dentistry at Meharry Medical College (Nashville).
She and her husband Dr. Brian Howlett realized Nashville was home after serving on the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department of Meharry faculty and as Attending Physicians with Metro General Hospital.
Her goal is to provide specialty dental care treatments in a gentle, courteous, and thorough manner.
Dr. Howlett is also involved with other Nashville area dentists and dental health professionals in local and global community service including a mission in Africa. Learn More about the Malawi Dental Health Mission.

Dr. Tania Nkungula-Howlett is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She is also fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Chichewa.
