Join Our Team: Nashville Cares AIDS Walk 2008
In the fall of 2007 Dental Specialty Group Oral Surgeon, Dr. Tania Howlett participated in, and was a group sponsor of, the Nashville Cares AIDS Walk. This year DSG wants to increase their fundraising efforts by including more Nashville area and middle Tennessee residents and local dentists in the event.
This year’s AIDS walk will be held at the Bicentennial State Park Mall: Saturday October 4, 2008!
DSG invites you to be part of our fundraising team. Help us improve the lives of our neighbors. Loved ones, friends, young people, and families in the Nashville area are in need of our support. Our team is focused on increasing the level of funding in the Nashville Cares’ dental assistance program.
The funds raised by Dental Specialty Group will distributed throughout the area to improve the dental health of people with AIDS. Your contribution will pay for prescribed treatment developed by one of several participating dentists.
AIDS reduces the immune systems’ ability to fight disease, so those with AIDS require another level of dental health supervision and prompt intervention Drs. Brian and Tania Howlett provide specialty dental care through this program, often working with general dentists to get patients the treatment they need.
