Nashville Cares AIDS Walk 2008
In the fall of 2007 Dental Specialty Group Oral Surgeon, Dr. Tania Howlett participated in, and was a group sponsor of, the Nashville Cares AIDS Walk. This year DSG was not able to get involved directly so we could plan our mission trip to Africa this winter. But we want to continue to promote and support this important cause.
This year's AIDS walk was held at the Bicentennial State Park Mall on Saturday, October 4, 2008.
DSG invites you to be part of next year's event or donate now. Help improve the lives of our neighbors. Loved ones, friends, young people, and families in the Nashville area are in need of our support. Help increase the level of funding in the Nashville Cares' dental assistance program.
The funds raised will be distributed throughout the area to improve the dental and overall health of people with AIDS. Your contribution will pay for prescribed treatment developed by participating dentists and doctors.
AIDS reduces the immune systems' ability to fight disease, so those with AIDS require another level of dental health supervision and prompt intervention Nashville oral surgeons Brian and Tania Howlett provide specialty dental care through this program, often working with general dentists to get patients the treatment they need.
