Malawi Dental Health Outreach - Soon We Leave

In two weeks we leave for Malawi. There are six of us who will be part of the team including four dental health professionals. We are thankful for all the support and the donors.

There are many things we hope to accomplish. However, our home base in Africa, a government clinic in Blantyre, Malawi, is in great need of supplies, personnel and equipment. While it is an exciting adventure for our team, the needs are substantial and the reality of what our patients are dealing with day to day keep our feet on the ground.

Our Nashville, Tennessee team departs on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 on our journey across the Atlantic Ocean to Africa. We will be giving away as much dentistry as possible over Christmas and the New Year's Holiday.

Our team consists of a general dentist, two oral surgeons, a nurse, an intern and a videographer.
