Malawi Dental Health

There are many things we hope to accomplish. However, our home base in Africa, a government clinic in Blantyre, Malawi is in great need of supplies, personnel and equipment. While it is an exciting adventure for our team, the needs are substantial and the reality of what the patients there are dealing with day to day keep our feet on the ground.

Our Nashville, Tennessee team began its first international mission on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 with a journey across the Atlantic Ocean to Africa.Our team consists of a general dentist, two oral surgeons, a nurse, an intern and a videographer.

Malawi has been makingeconomicgains recently and we see our support in the health area as a way to enhance outcomes for more of its citizens. While providing this type of service is vital no matter what the circumstances, it is very exciting to know it is has the potential to be much more than just a stopgap measure.
